Ourika valley escape

Your tour starts in the morning at 09:00 am from Marrakesh and drive towards Ourika Valley, which is approximately a 1 to 1.5-hour drive from Marrakesh. Enjoy the scenic views as you leave the city behind and enter the beautiful countryside. Along the way, you will make a stop at a Berber family’s home. Here, you can experience traditional Moroccan hospitality and enjoy a refreshing cup of mint tea. This stop is significant as it provides valuable insight into the local way of life.

After your tea break, continue your drive deeper into the Ourika Valley, passing through Berber villages and enjoying the stunning landscapes. Upon reaching the last village in the valley, you will begin your hike up to the waterfalls. This hike is usually moderate and offers breathtaking views of the valley, its terraced fields, and the surrounding Atlas Mountains.

After your hike, retrace your steps back to join your driver and head for lunch with locals. Here, enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch with another Berber family. This is a great opportunity to savor local cuisine and interact with the locals.

Following lunch, depart and head back towards Marrakesh. It’s worth noting that the visit to Anima Garden is optional. Wander through the beautifully landscaped gardens, featuring exotic plants and art installations, and enjoy a serene atmosphere.
