Get off the beaten path to discover the splendor of the south with its majestic Atlas Mountains, valleys, and Kasbahs.

Day 1: Marrakech

Upon your arrival,  assistance and transfer to the city. overnight in a riad (BB)

Day 2: Marrakech – Telouat -Ait Ben Haddou 

We start the splendor of the southern morocco by driving toward the mass of the high Atlas Mountains and cross the famous pass of Tichka “2260m”. Dramatic drive will take us to the fortress of solace, Telouat. The visit of the Kasbah then we carry on through the ounila valley. The former route of the caravans from southern countries to Marrakech. Next stop at the village of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the best preserved kasbahs in the country. visit the fortified village and walk to the top for picturesque views over the high atlas mountains. during exploration, our guide will provide valuable information about the site and local heritage. overnight in hotel (BB)

Day 3 Ait Ben Haddou – Troudant

Depart from ait ben haddou and head towards Taroudant. Your journey will take you through Taznaght, a town famous for its traditional handmade rugs. Continue to Taliouin, a small village known for the world’s finest saffron. Enjoy your Saffron infused lunch here before we continue to the Taroudant, often referred as ‘grand mother of Marrakesh’. Explore its historic ramparts and its souks. Overnight in riad (BB)

Day 4Taroudant – Essaouira via Agadir

begin your day with a visit to the tanneries, one of the oldest in Morocco to see traditional leather making process. Continue to Agadir where you can stop at a supermarket to purchase your picnic. Follow the picturesque coastal road, stopping on the way for seaside picnic. Arrive in Essaouira and take an orientation walk of this charming port city, know for its vibrant Medina and alleys. Overnight in hotel/ riad (BB)  

Day 5 Essaouira 

Today is free to explore Essaouira on your own pace. We recommend to visit the Essaouira Museum, which bear the name of the founder of the city’ King Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah. An interesting display of artifacts such as archaeological finds from the island of Mogador and ethnic Berber jewelry from the surrounding tribes. visit some local art galleries specializing in Thuya wood or visit the harbor. Essaouira is a good place where you can get souvenirs and gifts till you drop.  overnight in hotel/riad (BB)

Day 6 Essaouira – Marrakesh 

In the morning we leave Mogador and head back to Marrakesh. In the afternoon, you will visit some monuments and the Medina such as Bahia palace , Koutoubia Mosque and the vibrant Jemaa El Fna square. The UNESCO World heritage known for its local food stalls, Berber Musicians and dancers, the story tellers and Gnaoua drummers. Overnight in riad (BB)

Day 7 Marrakech / optional day tour

Today , you can have an optional day tour to Ourika valley  or engage on a philanthropy tour as part of our responsible travel action. Thus, you visit the women’s centre Al Kaoutar which hels those without any resources and in extreme poverty to learn a job and be able to earn a living themselves. Amal Asociation is an organization that helps underprevileged single mothers overcome poverty and social stigma by providing them with counseling and training to become professional cooks and pastry makers. overnight in riad (BB)

Day 8 Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have extra time for shopping or leisure before transfer to the airport .atlas eco travel morocco
