Ourika valley escape

Your tour starts in the morning from Marrakech. Begin your journey towards Ourika Valley, which is approximately a 1 to 1.5-hour drive from Marrakech. Enjoy the scenic views as you leave the city behind and enter the beautiful countryside. Along the way, your driver will make a stop at a Berber family’s home. Here, you can experience traditional Moroccan hospitality and enjoy a refreshing cup of mint tea. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about their way of life.

After your tea break, continue your drive deeper into the Ourika Valley, passing through Berber villages and enjoying the stunning landscapes. Upon reaching the last village in the valley, you’ll begin your hike to the waterfalls. This hike is usually moderate and offers breathtaking views of the valley, its terraced fields, and the surrounding Atlas Mountains.

After your hike, retrace your steps back to the last village, you will drive for a while to reach another family’s home for lunch. Here, you’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch with another Berber family. This is a great opportunity to savor local cuisine and interact with the locals.

Following lunch, depart and head back towards Marrakech. It’s worth noting that the visit to Anima Garden is optional, giving you the flexibility to decide whether you’d like to make a stop. If you choose to explore, you can wander through the beautifully landscaped gardens, featuring exotic plants and art installations, and enjoy a serene atmosphere.
