Day 3: Zagoura-Tamgrout – chgaga

After breakfast we drive to the small village of Tamgrout which is famous for its Coranic library dates back to the 13^th Century. here you can see old books of different issues written on gazelle skins then visit the famous pottery foundation which still using the natural green color for all types of dishes and vases . Then onto Oulad Driss where we will have pic nic lunch and meet your camels for one hour trek in the area . From Oulad Driss to M hamid where we will leave the road and navigate over 40 km of sand dunes, dry rivers and rocky area. Upon your arrival at chgaga, you take a walk to feel the environment of the mighty Sahara and claim on top for spectacular views of the endless sea of sand dunes. Enjoy the night under the starry sky and have dinner before you sleep in tent.

Day 4: Chgagga – Foumzguid- Tata

Wake up, challenge yourself and claim to the highest dune to welcome the sunrise then a short walk to survey some flora in the area. Enjoy your breakfast then departure through another off road that will take us to a special landscape in the area. We will pass the dried lake of Iriki which is home of several avian species during wet periods including blue Flamingo, geese and coot. At Foum Zguid we will meet again the road and sit for lunch then continue to the capital of the region, Tata. Night and dinner in hotel.

Day 5: Tata – Tiout – Taroudant

After breakfast we leave the city of Tata and drive along the valley of Issafn. We will stop several times along the way breathtaking sights. The road is mountainous as we claim to the village of Ighram then downhill through the zigzagging road to the plain. The route will pass near Tiout oasis which is a good place to visit and have a short walk in the orchards. We will pass thousands and thousands argan trees where we might see goats graze on top of them. Then we continue to the old city of Taroudant where we will have a city tour to its ramparts, souks and ends in the main square for dinner. Overnight in riad.

Day 6:

Taroudant -Agadir – Essaouira

In the morning we head to the tanneries where the leather is stained of astonishing colors dyes. Then we set off to the Atlantic Ocean to the city of Agadir where you will get some time for drinks on the shore. Afterward we take the coastal road to Essaouira which is set in less than 3 hours from Agadir. We will stop on our way to Essaouira in one of the women cooperatives to learn about the procedure of extracting argan oil. Upon your arrival in Essaouira, you check in and go for an orientation walk. Overnight in riad

Day 7: Essaouira

With its whitewashing building, Essaouira is easy to be explored on your own. We recommend a visit to the harbor and the ancient medina or have a stroll along the beach. the city is also a place where you can get souvenirs and gifts till you drop.

Day 8: Essaouira -Marrakech

After breakfast we leave Essaouira behind us and heading back to Marrakech. In the afternoon, our local guide will take you for sightseeing tour of the medina including its monuments such as the koutoubia mosque, saadien tombs, Bahia palace, souks to the famous main square of Jamaa Elfna where you will view local musicians, story tellers and numerous food stalls each with a certain specialty from snails to ship head. enjoy the last dinner in one of the local restaurant in the surrounding before you head to your riad for the last night. 

Day 9: the splendor of the Southern Morocco Tour Ends

Depends on your flight schedule , you may have extra time to discover more at your leisure before you meet your driver to be transferred to the airport for flight home. the splendor of the southern Morocco Tour ends.
