Join us for this famous tour designed to explore Jewish heritage in Morocco.

Day 1 Airport Med V – Casablanca 

Landing in ablanca Airport and meeting with our staff. Depend on time of arrival you may visit the inside of Mosque Hassan II designed by the french architect Michel Pinceau. situated on a promontory looking out to the Atlantic Ocean. then streatch your legs along Casablanca’s Coastal Corniche and taste morocca mint tea with spectacular views before you join your hotel  (BB)

Day 2 Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen 

 After breakfast, departure to Rabat and vist the Royal palace, Mohamed V Mausoleum, the hassan tower. Then a walk into the former fortress of Sale, Kasbah Oudaya. in the afternoon we travel to the beautiful Andalou town of Chefchaouen, known for it striking blue washed building and picturesque streets.  overnight in hotel

Day 3 Chefchaouen – Tanger 

We spend the morning exploring the delightful streets of chefchaouen and walk up to the historic hilltop mosque built by the Spanish in 1920’s, offering a panoramic views of the surounding mountains and the whole city. In the afternoon, we drive to Tanger, a city with rich history and culture. Visit Hrcules cave and Cap Spartel at the extreme North-West of Africa where the mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. Return to Chefchaouen for an other night. (BB

Day 4 Chefchaouen – Fes

After breakfast we drive to Ouazzane, where you will visit the historic Ben Diwan Synagogue, know for its religious significance and a pilgrimage destination for Jews from around the world. We continue our journey to Fes, one of the oldest cultural Capital in the world. check into your Riad and relax. Overnight in Fes. (BB)

Day 5 Fes

After Breakfast, full day will be devoted to the sightseeing of the city founded in the 8th Century by Moulay Idriss II. you start with the Royal Palace Gates, then the old Jewish quarter. Visit the medieval Medina with Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest educational institution in the world.  Then visit Bou Inania Medrassa and Moulay Idriss Mauselueme. Day 6 Meknes and Volubilis

Today, you take a day trip to Meknes, known for its impressive imperial architecture. visit Bab Mansour, the grand Gate and the royal stable. after lunch we drive to the ancient Roman city Volubilis with well preserved ruins. return to Fes for overnight.

Day 7  Fes – Ifran – Errachidia – Erfoud 

After Breakfast, departure for Erfoud via the Atlas Mountains and cedar woods. Take a short stop in Ifran  before you continue to Medelt for Lunch. continue through the Ziz Valley, known for its Geology phenomena and lush palm groves. overnight in Erfoud. overnight in hotel (BB&D)

Day 8 Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

Begin your day with a visit to the Date Market in Erfoud and experience the atmosphere. Next, visit the historic Jewish Synagogue of Sidi Bouhsira to appreciate the Jewish heritage in the region. Continue to Errissani to see the mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif, the founder of Alaouit Dynasty. End your day in Merzouga with a camel ride into the stunning sand dunes, spending the night in tent under the starry sahara sky.  (BBD)

Day 9 Merzouga – Tinghir – Dades

Departure from Merzouga and head West to Tinghir, where you will visit the spectacular Todgha Gorges. Take in the breathtaking views and enjoy a short walk along the orchards near the river. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Dades valley, known for its dramatic rock formation and traditional Berber Kasbahs. overnight in hotel. ( BB&D)

Day 10 Dades – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Travel to Ouarzazat via Kelaa Megouna, famous for rose festival and traditional Kasbahs. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage village. Explore this fortified site that has served as a backdrop for many Films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continuation to Marrakech via the Tichka Pass offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains. overnight in riad (BB) 

Day 11 Marrakech

Escorted by local guide who will take you to the archeological site of the koutoubia mosque and minaret, then you go through the historical “Bab Agnou” to visit the saadien Necropolis of the 15th Century and walk through the Kasbah with its food markets, bakeries and narrow alleyways. You will visit the Bahia Palace and discover its amazing architecture done by local artisans on wood and plaster to decorate this splendid palaceof the moroccan prime minieter. Stroll inside the Jewish quarter to visit the Synagogue built in 1492 by Seephardic jews who were expelled from Spain and considered the oldest functioning synagogue in Morocco. End your walk at the UNESCO World Heritage site, Jemaa El Fna, to hear and watch some local folklore such as the Berber musicians, the Gnaoua drummers, the story tellers. you may have short free time to explore on your own pace before you go back to your riad. Day 12 Free day & a day trip to Ourika is optional 

On your free day, you can visit Yves saint Laurent Garden and musée, Secret Garden, cooking class or traditinal hammam. on the other hand you can have a day tour to Ourika Valley or a half day tour to Sidi Bouatman.

Day 13 Marrakech – Essaouira 

After breakfast, you leave Marrakech and drive to Essaouira which has the remains of a 16th Century Portuguese fort and mid-Eighteen Century Medina. Crossing Argan tree forest and stop to visit a women cooperative extracting the famous Moroccan Argan oil. Enter the city through one of its historical Gates and commence to explore the colorful streets and galleries. visit the Pento historic cemetery, notable for its well preserved tombstones and rich in history. Then to the Mellah where old synagogue and distinct Jewish architecture. overnigh in hotel or riad (BB)

Day 14 Casablanca or Marrakech Airport 

Departure from Essaouira and head either to Casablanca or Marrakech for your flight home.
